Kofi Kingston Set to Make Appearance at Indie Event

Kofi Kingston is certainly a true veteran in the pro wrestling world, having worked in WWE for over a decade. While he’s obviously a proper WWE Superstar, it appears he is set to make an appearance at an upcoming indie event.

The former WWE Champion has seen a ton of success in the company but no one could ever imagine him making his way to any indie event, especially under the old regime in WWE. Of course, things are vastly different under the Triple H era of WWE.

Kofi Kingston took to Twitter and commented on a post by the indie promotion Ego Pro Chicago, where it was announced that Kofi Kingston will be making a special appearance at the Return to Forge event on Saturday, October 5th.

While fans are excited to see Kofi Kingston set to appear at an indie event, Kingston is currently dealing with a potential breakup with Xavier Woods on Monday Night RAW, so we’ll have to see if the situation will get resolved in the end.
