TNA Wrestling star Joe Hendry will no longer be making his highly anticipated debut for House of Glory Wrestling this Sunday.

Hendry was set to face Joey Janela at the Believe in the Glory event on September 29 in Queens, New York, but unforeseen scheduling changes caused by Hurricane Helene have forced Hendry to be pulled from the card.

TNA had to reschedule its weekend TV tapings in Spartanburg, South Carolina, from Friday and Saturday to Sunday, September 29, and Monday, September 30, due to the incoming storm. As a result, Hendry will be unable to compete at the House of Glory show. The promotion released a statement explaining the situation and promised fans they will announce a replacement soon.

“Joe Hendry regrets that due to factors entirely out of his and our control caused by Hurricane Helene, we regret to inform you he will not be appearing at HOG this Sunday. To bring our fans the best possible wrestling experience, we will announce his replacement soon, and you will not be disappointed!” the statement read.

Hendry also issued an apology to fans, expressing his disappointment at missing the event. “I’m very sorry to all the fans that I won’t be able to make it,” Hendry said. “It’s just one of these super unfortunate freak incidents that no one can really do anything about.”

In addition to Hendry, other TNA stars like Jordynne Grace, Sinner and Saint (Travis Williams & Judas Icarus), and Xia Zhao (formerly known as Xia Li in WWE) have also been pulled from Sunday’s Prestige Wrestling event in Portland, Oregon, due to the same scheduling conflict.

Hendry is set to compete for the TNA World Championship at Bound for Glory on October 26, 2024, where he will challenge Nic Nemeth for the title.

With Joe Hendry unable to make his House of Glory debut, fans will have to wait a little longer to see the TNA star in action. However, with Bound for Glory just around the corner, Hendry’s sights are set on the TNA World Championship.
