AEW recorded the highly anticipated September 28th edition of AEW Collision from the Arthur Ashe Stadium in Flushing, NY, on September 25 and it appears a major heel turn took place during the tapings.
Former ROH World Champion RUSH signed a contract with AEW following a few appearances in 2022 and he has proven to be a solid get for the promotion. After returning from injury earlier this year, RUSH has been on an absolute tear as the leader of the La Faccion Ingobernable.
During the latest set of AEW Collision tapings, a triple threat match took place which saw Hologram defeating Beast Mortos and Dralistico. Following the match, RUSH led an attack where Mortos and Dralistico attacked Hologram. This was effectively Mortos’ heel turn as he has now aligned himself with the LFI.
We will have to wait and see how AEW will book the La Faccion Ingobernable faction now that they have acquired the services of Beast Mortos, as Mortos has proven himself to be a solid in-ring competitor.
