After MVP parted ways with WWE earlier this year, fans speculated that he might just join AEW. That’s exactly what happened as he made his debut at AEW Grand Slam and he has now confirmed his appearance for AEW television next week.

During Grand Slam, MVP interrupted Prince Nana while he was giving an update about Swerve Strickland’s injury. Nana said that Strickland was still not able to compete after AEW All Out.

Taking the chance, MVP criticized Nana for how he manages Swerve, mentioning that Hangman Page burned down Swerve’s house. He pointed out that Nana seemed more focused on “selling coffee and dancing” instead of helping Swerve with his career. MVP also hinted that he might have a business idea for Swerve when he’s ready to come back, saying that Swerve deserves better management.

The former WWE Superstar took to his Instagram and uploaded a video, talking about his debut in AEW, announcing that he is starting an exciting new chapter in his career. He expressed his enthusiasm, mentioning that this could be his final chapter and that he has exciting plans ahead. He encouraged his long-time fans to stay tuned, stating that he is still the same MVP but is now working in a new environment. He confirmed that he will be appearing on AEW television next week.

”Cat’s out of the bag, I’m sure many of you know that I’ve embarked on an exciting new chapter. I’m excited because this new chapter could quite possibly be my last chapter and I’ve got some exciting things in store. So if you’ve been a fan of mine for this long, hang out for a little bit longer. Same MVP, just conducting business in a new location. MVP is AEW. See you next week.”

We have also reported that MVP has signed with AEW and the deal was done a month ago. It remains to be seen how MVP will be utilized in the upcoming weeks, as it’s an exciting time in professional wrestling.
