MVP’s second stint with WWE has recently concluded, leaving fans curious about his next move. He made a surprising debut at AEW Grand Slam and has since discussed the possibility of using his TNA theme song in AEW.
During Grand Slam, MVP interrupted Prince Nana while he was updating the AEW audience about Swerve Strickland’s injury. Nana confirmed that Strickland was still unable to compete after AEW All Out.
Seizing the opportunity, MVP criticized Nana’s handling of Swerve, pointing out how Hangman Page burned down Swerve’s house, yet Nana seemed more interested in “selling coffee and dancing” than supporting Swerve’s career. MVP also suggested that he might have a business proposal for Swerve when he’s ready to return, emphasizing his belief that Swerve deserves better management.
A fan on Twitter asked MVP if he could use his TNA theme, “Return of The Ronin,” in AEW. MVP replied that he owns the song, so he could use it if he chose to, but he also mentioned that he hasn’t yet decided which theme to go with.
”I own it. So I can if I choose to. Not sure which I’ll use though.”
We have also reported that MVP has signed with AEW and the deal was done a month ago. Regardless, we will have to wait and see how MVP will be used in the coming weeks, as it’s certainly an exciting time in professional wrestling.
