WWE NXT and TNA Wrestling’s talent exchange has drawn attention as the two companies are now trading stars. This situation may eventually lead to fans being able to play as their favorite TNA stars in a video game, depending on how things develop.

The last video game based on TNA Wrestling, TNA Impact!, was released in 2011 for iOS and Android, but it is no longer available for download. It’s been even longer since TNA fans could play as their favorite stars in a console game. WWE 2K25 is coming and that has sparked a very good question.

During a recent Q&A on Fightful Select, Sean Ross Sapp was asked if TNA talents could be included in WWE 2K25 through the WWE agreement or if TNA would need a separate deal with 2K. He had quite an interesting response.

Sapp explained that approval from TNA would be required, and a separate agreement with 2K/WWE would need to be signed. As independent contractors, TNA talents cannot be licensed out without proper approval.
