Following the release of Netflix’s six-part documentary series Mr. McMahon, Janel Grant’s attorney, Ann Callis, has issued a scathing statement condemning the series for glossing over the serious allegations against former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon. Grant has accused McMahon of sexual trafficking and assault, and her attorney made it clear that the docuseries did not fully capture the extent of McMahon’s alleged criminal behavior.

Callis provided the following statement to Ringside News on Wednesday:

“The Mr. McMahon docuseries makes it clear there is no difference between Vince McMahon’s on-air persona and his true self, they are one and the same. His ‘character’ – known for violent outbursts, sexual deviance, and manipulation – is the real Vince McMahon and exactly what Janel Grant experienced behind closed doors at WWE for years.

“While the docuseries put McMahon’s obsession with power and control on full display, it only scratches the surface of his criminal behavior and it fails to tell the full story of his abuse, sexual assault, and human trafficking of Ms. Grant. She deserves the opportunity to tell her story, on her own time, and in her own way. We look forward to her day in court and to seeing McMahon at last held accountable for his actions.”

Despite featuring in-depth discussions about McMahon’s career and personal life, Mr. McMahon has faced criticism from those who feel it does not delve deeply enough into the serious allegations against him. As Grant’s case progresses, her attorney remains determined to see McMahon held accountable in court.

With Netflix’s Mr. McMahon now available to stream, the conversation surrounding Vince McMahon’s legacy and the allegations against him is far from over. As Janel Grant prepares for her day in court, the full story behind McMahon’s actions may yet be revealed.
