AJ Styles is regarded as one of the top professional wrestlers by both fans and his fellow wrestlers. Even as he gets older, Styles consistently delivers impressive performances. While he remains absent from WWE television, his future in WWE has been revealed.

Pro Wrestling NOAH and WWE announced that AJ Styles would face Naomichi Marufuji at NOAH Destination 2024 on July 13 at Budokan Hall. Fans were anticipating a great match, and they weren’t disappointed as Styles delivered a strong performance, defeating Marufuji with a powerful Styles Clash.

Before this match, AJ Styles’ last WWE appearance was at the Clash at the Castle Premium Live Event, where he lost to Cody Rhodes. He was also expected to return to SmackDown last month, but those plans were eventually canceled.

During an exclusive live Q&A with Joe Lowry, WrestleVotes was asked about AJ Styles’ future in WWE. It was mentioned that the veteran wrestler is gradually nearing the end of his career, and currently, the creative team doesn’t have any clear plans or direction for him.
