It’s Tuesday night and you know what that means! WWE NXT will go down tonight, and Ringside News has got you covered with live play-by-play results coverage for the September 24, 2024 episode.
WWE NXT will start this week at 8:00 PM EST as always, match-by-match highlights and results from the show will take place on this very page. Feel free to leave any reactions in the comment section below. You can check out the lineup below.
The show opens up with Vic Joseph and WWE Hall of Famer Booker T welcoming us. We then get the entrances of the first match of the night, which is a WWE NXT Women’s North American Championship Match.
The match starts off with Sinclair hitting a shoulder tackle on Jordan, but Jordan responds with an arm drag and sends Sinclair into the corner. Sinclair then responds with a shoulder tackle of her own and a Bulldog, then follows it up with a low crossbody and wears Jordan’s shoulder down with a submission hold. Sinclair and Jordan then take turns pinning one another and Jordan dropkicks Sinclair out of the ring, then flies over the top rope with a crossbody to land on her. Sinclair then has Jordan in a grounded Octopus Hold. Jordan then counters it with a Jackknife pin for a two count. Sinclair then turns it into an abdominal stretch, but Jordan quickly counters it into a hip toss and an axe handle rally. Jordan then hits Sinclair with an X-Factor and gets a two count. Sinclair then grabs Jordan’s leg to block a one of a kind. Sinclair then dodges a Five Star Frog Splash attempt from Jordan. Sinclair then hits Jordan with a few suplexes. Jordan then rolls up Sinclair for a two count. Borne and Tavion then talks trash to Jordan. Sinclair then accidentally hits Myles and Tavion with a crossbody. Jordan then hits Sinclair with a spinning heel kick and a One of a Kind for the win.

After the match, Jordan holds her championship high above her head and celebrates her win.
Vic Joseph then plugs NXT’s debut on the CW.
We then get a video of the NXT Press Conference, which was started by WWE NXT Champion “All Ego” Ethan Page. Page talks about becoming the face of the company and doing a good job carrying the company on his back. Page then says he’s on one of the stacked rosters in the industry and a cut above. A media member then asks Page about the positives with Trick. Page says Trick is a former champ, but not as good as him. Another press person then asks how CM Punk will affect the match. Page says Punk will be a non factor. Page then quickly sends the show back to the main NXT show.
Vic Joseph and Booker T then hype up Roxanne Perez vs. Giulia for the WWE NXT Women’s Championship at the CW debut. They also plug The Grayson Waller Effect for the next segment.
We then head to the back, where we see CM Punk having a conversation with Je’von Evans. Punk then speaks with Trick Williams. Williams talks about how Ethan Page is going to be underhanded in his upcoming match. Punk then talks about watching Trick win and lose the title, but Trick is still in the mix. Punk then says he’s going to call the match down the middle. Punk then says he’s not playing favorites and if Page wins, Page wins. Both men then fist bumps to end the segment.
A-Town Down Under (Austin Theory and Grayson Waller) are already in the ring for The Grayson Waller Effect.
Waller and Theory introduce WWE NXT Tag Team Champions Nathan Frazer and Axiom and the WWE NXT Tag Team Champions make their way down to the ring. Waller starts off by saying he thinks Axiom and Frazer will be great additions to SmackDown as individual competitors. Frazer then assures Waller and Theory that he and Axiom are fine, but the same cannot be said for Waller and Theory. Theory and Waller then oppose Axiom and Frazer’s disrespect and Waller says no one wants him and Theory to breakup, while everyone wants to see Frazer and Axiom breakup. Waller then reiterates that Frazer and Axiom work better as singles competitors and Axiom says while he and Frazer didn’t plan on being a tag team, they are the grim reapers of NXT. Frazer then says in two weeks, A-Town Down Under will be sent down six feet under. Theory then tells Frazer and Axiom to remember that there’s levels to this game and Waller says while he understands that Frazer and Axiom put on bangers, they’re nothing compared to him and Theory. Frazer then stares down Waller, then asks him why Theory’s name isn’t included in the talk show name of The Grayson Waller Effect. Theory then says it’s a good idea to have his name in it again and Waller protests him. Theory and Waller then beat down Axiom and Frazer and hold up the WWE NXT Tag Team Championships.
We then head to the back, where we see Meta-Four hanging out. Lexis King then shows up to speak with Oro Mensah. King says he actually agonized over Oro’s dad issues and can relate. King then talks about how his father was never around, but if he was, he’ll want King to be the bigger man. Mensah then respectfully shakes hands with King. Mensah then tells King to make his dad proud.
We then see Hank Walker and Tank Ledger cut a promo, where they hype up each other before going up against The Good Brothers.
We then head to the back, where Karmen Petrovic was warming up with a bunch of developmental women. Ashante “Thee” Adonis then shows up with a rose to hit on the women. Adonis talks about how Tatum Paxley excites him. Tatum then says her heart belongs to someone else.
Hank & Tank (Hank Walker and Tank Ledger) then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night and The O.C. (Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows) follows.
The match starts off with Hank Walker and Luke Gallows delivering some right hands on one another as Karl Anderson and Tank Ledger do the same. Walker and Gallows then brawl with each other before Ledger tags in. Walker then hits a splash in the corner and Ledger hits a second one. Anderson then tags in and hits a stomp on Ledger’s knee, then hits an uppercut on Ledger and sends Ledger into the top turnbuckle. Luke Gallows then tags in and hits a roundhouse kick on Ledger’s head, but Ledger responds with a clothesline and tags in Walker. Anderson then tags in and Walker nails him with a couple of back elbows. Walker then hits Anderson with a splash in the corner, then follows it up with a slam and goes for a pin. Anderson then kicks out and both men teeter on the top rope before Anderson hits a superplex on Ledger and sends Ledger crashing into Walker. Gallows then gets Ledger up on his shoulders and Anderson runs the ropes, but Ledger trips him from the outside. Ledger and Walker then double team on Anderson for the win.

We then head to the back, where Je’von Evans was having a conversation with Cedric Alexander about having the biggest match of his life in a few weeks against one of his heroes. Austin Theory and Grayson Waller then shows up to talk trash, calling Cedric Alexander an uncle. Evans then fakes out A-Town Down Under, scaring them by saying Kevin Owens was behind them.
Lexis King then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Meta-Four follows.
The match starts off with Mensah shaking hands with King. Both men then lock up and King nails Mensah with a shoulder tackle. Mensah then hits a belly-to-belly suplex on King, but King responds with a chop and sends Mensah crashing out of the ring. King then hits a bodyslam and a backbreaker on Mensah, but Mensah responds with an enzuigiri. King then hits another backbreaker on Mensah and locks in a submission on him, but Mensah escapes and delivers some chops on King. Mensah then hits King with a springboard moonsault and sends King’s face repeatedly bouncing off the top turnbuckle. King then pins Mensah with his feet on the ropes, but Mensah kicks out. Mensah then returns the favor and pins King with his feet on the ropes for the win.

Chase U’s Riley Osborne vs. Ridge Holland is then hyped as the next match of the night.
Vic Joseph then plugs WWE Wrestlemania 41 in Las Vegas.
We then head to a random building, where we see The D’Angelo Family having a training montage. Tony D’Angelo was working out, doing pull-ups, rope climbs and such to get ready to face Oba Femi. At one point, Tony D’Angelo pushed a pickup, then he boxed a random person in the gym. D’Angelo got knocked out at first, but then made a comeback and knocked the guy out. Vic Joseph then plugs Oba Femi vs. Tony D’Angelo for the St. Louis show.
Chase U’s Riley Osborne and Thea Hail then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night and Ridge Holland follows.
The match starts off with Osborne flying over the top rope and nailing Holland. Osborne then sends Holland back in the ring, then sends him crashing into the corner. Holland then nails Osborne with a clothesline, then follows it up with a belly-to-belly suplex. Osborne then responds with a right hand and a superkick, then dropkicks Holland into the middle turnbuckle and rolls him up and Holland kicks out. Osborne then hits a moonsault on Holland and delivers some right hands on him, then sends him crashing through the barricade on the outside. Osborne then sends Holland back in the ring and hits him with a roundhouse kick off the top, then looks to fly. Holland then avoids it and hits Osborne with a cradle DDT for the win.

After the match, Holland continues beating Osborne down and Holland sends Osborne crashing into the ring steps. Holland then grabs the barricade, but Osborne knocks it out of Holland’s hands and both men continue to brawl. Security Guards then made their way out to pull both men apart.
We then get a Miz tweet video, where he talks about wanting to host the Oba Femi vs. Tony D’Angelo contract signing on MizTV next week.
Wes Lee vs. Zachary Wentz is then hyped for next week. The camera then cuts to the preparation of their upcoming split screen interview.
We then see a video of WWE NXT North American Champion Oba Femi at the press conference. The first question was about Oba’s thoughts on him appearing on MizTV next week. Oba says he has no thoughts. The next person asks about the Tony D’Angelo training montage. Oba says he still sees D’Angelo as broken. Oba then ends the press conference. Vic then hypes MizTV for next week.
We then get a split screen interview with MSK. Wentz calls Lee a piece of s**t. Lee then says he wonders how Trey is doing. Wentz then calls Lee a b***h for jumping Trey in Ohio and says he is going to beat the F out of Lee. Lee then tells Wentz to shut the F up and make sure that Gigi Dolin doesn’t watch their street fight. Wentz then tells Lee to keep his fiance’s name out his F’n mouth. Lee then calls Wentz a punk a** b***h and tells him to come and see him. Both men then gets up and brawls backstage.
Vic Joseph then apologizes for the vulgar language used in the interview. Vic and Booker then thanks the USA network for airing NXT over the years. A video package then airs of some NXT highlights.
TNA’s Rosemary and Wendy Choo then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night.
Vic Joseph then plugs WWE’s upcoming Saturday Night Main Event show.
We then head to the back, where we see NXT General Manager Ava having a conversation with Lola Vice and Jaida Parker as both women were bickering. Ava then calms them down and books them in a tag team match against Fatal Influence. Parker and Vice then continues to bicker and Ava tells them to figure things out.
Karmen Petrovic and Brinley Reece then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night.
The match starts off with Reece and Choo. Choo sends Reece into the corner. Reece then responds with an arm drag and tags in Petrovic. Petrovic then hits a kick on Choo, then nails her with a clothesline and goes for a pin. Choo then kicks out and tags in Rosemary. Rosemary and Choo then look to hit a double suplex on Petrovic, but Petrovic escapes and tags in Reece. Choo then hits a kick on Reece’s spine from the apron as she runs the ropes after tagging in before sending Reece crashing into the mat and hitting a kick on her. Rosemary then tags back in and wears Reece down, then tags Choo back in. Choo and Rosemary then hit a double suplex on Reece, but Reece nails Choo with a clothesline. Ashante “Thee” Adonis then makes his way out to ringside, but Petrovic asks him what he’s doing. This then opens the door for Rosemary to hit As Above, So Below on Reece for the win.

We then head to the back, where CM Punk was having a conversation with Sol Ruca. Ruca leaves when Ethan Page shows up. Page references being in the same company as Punk before and how he doesn’t appreciate Punk getting in his business. Punk says he’s calling things down the middle. Punk then says he doesn’t appreciate Page cheating in past matches and how he won the title by just falling on somebody. Punk then says he’ll raise Page’s hand if he’s the guy, but if he doesn’t win, he won’t raise nothing.
“The Young OG” Je’von Evans and Cedric Alexander then make their way down to the ring for the main event of the night.
We then get a video of Fatal Influence at the press conference. One of the press members asks them if they have decided who will face Jaida Parker and Lola Vice. Fallon Henley says yep and everyone will find out next week. Jacy Jayne then talks about how they are about to get to the top of the division by winning championships. Jayne then says Kelani Jordan doesn’t deserve to be champ. Jaida Parker and Lola Vice then shows up and had to be dragged off by security.
Vic Joseph then plugs Fatal Influence vs. Parker and Vice for next week as well as Giulia vs. Roxanne Perez.
A-Town Down Under then make their way down to the ring for the main event of the night.
The match starts off with Grayson Waller sending Je’von Evans crashing into the corner. Austin Theory then tags in and Evans hit a hurricanrana on him. Waller then tags back in, but Evans nails him with a dropkick. Waller then hits Evans with a right hand and tags in Theory, but Evans rolls him up. Theory then kicks out and stomps on Evans’ midsection, then wears him down with a submission and delivers a couple of right hands on him in the corner. Evans then sends Theory into the opposite corner, then tags in Alexander. Evans then hits a Sliced Bread on Theory and Alexander follows it up with a kick on his face. Waller then tags back in, but Alexander hits him with a Dragon Screw and sends him crashing out of the ring. Evans then sends Theory out to join Waller, then flies over the top rope to land on Theory and Waller. Alexander then does the same. Evans then takes Waller down with a tope suicida and nails Theory on the outside by flying over the top rope. Alexander then sends Theory back in the ring and pins him, but Waller breaks the fall. Waller then tags in as Alexander and Theory brawl with each other. Waller then nails Alexander and sends him crashing into the ring steps. Nathan Frazer and Axiom then make their way down to ringside and Waller nails them both. Waller then looks to hit a rolling Stunner when he gets back inside the ring, but Evans sees him coming and hits Waller with a springboard kick. Evans then climbs to the top, but Frazer distracts him. Axiom then pulls Frazer off the apron and trips Evans in the process. This then opens the door for Theory to tag in and hit the A-Town Down on Evans for the win.

After the match, Frazer and Axiom argue with each other in the ring.
We then get a video of Trick Williams at the press conference. Trick talks about how big the win will be for him. Trick then says he wants to be a part of a small group of two time NXT Champions. Trick then says NXT is reaching new heights and it needs to involve him, not Ethan Page. A person then asks about Punk getting involved as the referee. Trick says he’s cool with Punk after what Punk ensured. Trick then says he’s going to have to control his emotion and you best believe he’s going to be the new champion. Sarah Schreiber then says that the rest of the Press Conference will take place in the Performance Center.
We then see separate shots of WWE NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez and Giulia (w/Funaki).
Vic Joseph then runs through the card for next week’s NXT on CW launch.
Byron Saxton is already in the ring and he introduces WWE NXT Women’s Champion “The Prodigy” Roxanne Perez and Giulia, then begins taking questions from the reporters at ringside. Perez interrupts a question addressed to Giulia and Saxton tells her to let Giulia speak. Giulia then responds to the question in Japanese and Funaki translates her answer. Perez then answers a question addressed towards her and reveals that she was a fan of Giulia’s long before anyone else was. Perez then continues bragging about her own abilities and Giulia asks Perez if she has considered what happens when she beats her. Giulia then takes another question and reflects on moving to America. Stephanie Vaquer then interrupts Perez and Giulia on the big screen, then puts the winner of next week’s NXT Women’s Championship Match between Perez and Giulia on notice. Vaquer then warns them that she’s coming for the title and the show comes to a close.
