Vince McMahon’s upcoming Netflix docuseries, Mr. McMahon, is set to explore his life in ways that many fans may not be familiar with, with its release scheduled for September 25. Interestingly enough, McMahon has dropped the PR firm Sitrick And Company ahead of the documentary’s release.
POST Wrestling reports that Vince McMahon is no longer being represented by the public relations firm Sitrick And Company. This change comes just days before the release of the Netflix docuseries Mr. McMahon, and five months after the partnership began in April. Sitrick And Company, led by PR strategist Michael Sitrick, is known for handling crisis management for high-profile clients like Roy Disney and Kobe Bryant.
The split was confirmed when POST Wrestling contacted Sitrick on Monday, who stated that he is no longer working with McMahon. Further details on who initiated the decision or when the relationship officially ended were not provided, though follow-up inquiries have been made. Initially, Sitrick’s firm took on McMahon’s case after thorough due diligence and worked alongside McMahon’s legal team during their time together.
Vince McMahon is still dealing with his sexual trafficking lawsuit filed by Janel Grant. Even Vince McMahon tried to purchase the documentary in order to kill it, and he released a statement on the documentary as well. Regardless, we’ll have to see what McMahon will do once the documentary drops tomorrow.
