Few WWE Superstars have impressed fans like GUNTHER, and his rise in the company only proves that the same sentiment exists backstage. Triple H has been a huge supporter of GUNTHER, even when he was WALTER, and dominating NXT UK as their seemingly unbeatable champion. Now that he’s on the main roster and WWE World Heavyweight Champion, the possibilities are endless for the Ring General.

GUNTHER’s career has been on the rise recently, with notable accomplishments including winning the King of the Ring tournament and capturing the World Heavyweight Championship at WWE SummerSlam. He further solidified his status by headlining WWE Bash in Berlin, where he successfully defended his title against Randy Orton.

In a recent episode of Six Feet Under with Mark Calaway, The Undertaker and Mideon discussed the current WWE landscape, with GUNTHER becoming a focal point of the conversation. When asked if GUNTHER could be a draw like Roman Reigns, Mideon said it was possible with the right story and elements around him but suggested that Gunther could benefit from having a manager.

“With the right story and the right stuff around him. He needs a manager.”

The Undertaker then chimed in to say that GUNTHER doesn’t need a manager, because he can talk for himself. Ludwig Kaiser, although he is GUNTHER’s closest confidant, he doesn’t play that role per se.

“I don’t think he needs a manager. He can talk. He’s very arrogant, and he carries himself in such a manner that you want to slap him because he’s so confident and so arrogant. That’s something that he’s gonna have to add to his repertoire, is a little bit of chickensh*t [heel].”

Co-host Matthew Lyda asked The Undertaker whether GUNTHER could headline a major event like WrestleMania at AT&T Stadium with the right opponent. The Undertaker agreed, saying, “For the right person.”

Mideon then shared his belief that there’s never much money in a babyface holding the championship. He then argued that the real money comes from the babyface chasing the title. After all, fans will keep coming back and shelling out money to witness the next chapter in that story.

We will keep a close eye on GUNTHER’s future in WWE. He has Sami Zayn trying hard to get a title match, but he teased and trolled The Underdog from the Underground during the September 23 WWE RAW. Only time will tell if that match gets booked for Bad Blood on October 5. Although there are some expensive seats available for Bad Blood, the event has sold very well on TicketMaster.
