Ricky Starks, one of AEW’s standout stars since his 2020 debut, has left fans puzzled by his sudden disappearance from television in late March. Despite being off AEW programming for several months, Starks has made it clear that he is ready to wrestle and is eager to return to the ring.

Ricky Starks last appeared on the March 30th episode of AEW Collision, where he teamed up with Big Bill in a tag team title tournament match against Top Flight. During the match, Starks appeared to suffer an injury, and since then, he has been absent from television. While the exact reason for his prolonged absence remains unclear, rumors and speculation have continued to swirl among fans, eagerly waiting for his return to AEW programming.

The Absolute One took to Twitter and uploaded a photo of himself, showing off his improved physique during his absence from AEW television. Starks made it clear that he is ready to wrestle.

Despite his current absence, Starks remains under contract with AEW, and WWE NXT is reportedly very interested in signing him whenever he becomes available. Regardless, it remains to be seen what will become of Starks in the end, as fans feel he deserves to be freed.
