WWE has experienced several personnel changes since merging with UFC to create TKO Group Holdings. As part of this trend, McKenzie Mitchell was released from WWE last year, and she has now joined Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling.

McKenzie Mitchell appeared on-screen as a host for WWE on their various media outlets and NXT. She announced last year that she was let go from the company, but had nothing but positive things to say about them.

The relaunch of Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling, led by former TNA Wrestling President Scott D’Amore, is gaining momentum as it gears up for its major Forged In Excellence event. The two-night showcase is set to take place on October 19 and October 20 at St. Clair College in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.

Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling’s official Twitter account took to the social media platform and announced that McKenzie Mitchell has joined the promotion as the official backstage correspondent.

Even former TNA personality Sam Laterna joined the promotion recently. Regardless, we will have to wait and see how McKenzie Mitchell will fare in her role during the upcoming Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling events.
