Bron Breakker’s transition from the NXT roster to the WWE main stage at the Royal Rumble marked a significant debut that set the tone for his fast-paced rise within the company. Since then, Breakker has not only established himself as a force to be reckoned with but also captured the Intercontinental Championship, further cementing his status as a key player in WWE.

However, recent events on the September 23 episode of Monday Night RAW have sparked discussions about his future direction. During this episode, Breakker defended his Intercontinental Championship against Jey Uso in a match that had fans on the edge of their seats. Ultimately, Jey Uso emerged victorious, claiming his first singles title since his main roster debut in 2010. This loss for Breakker has led to speculation about what’s next for him, especially now that he no longer holds the title.

Interestingly, Bron Breakker’s portrayal on the main roster has been predominantly as a heel. However, recent developments suggest a shift in his character. According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE appears to be steering Breakker towards a babyface turn.

Meltzer noted that the promotion is subtly encouraging fan engagement through actions like barking—a gesture typically resonant with babyface personas. “They are definitely building towards a Bron Breakker babyface turn,” Meltzer explained. “They are already doing a thing where they are trying to get the fans to bark. That’s a babyface move. So, they are already on the babyface track.”

The potential shift to a babyface character could open new storyline possibilities and further endear Breakker to the WWE audience, who have already shown appreciation for his athleticism and charisma. As we look forward to his future endeavors, it remains to be seen how this change in alignment will impact his career trajectory.
