AEW was forced to go without Britt Baker for a long hiatus, but she made her return at Forbidden Door 2024. That sparked a match with Mercedes Mone at All In 2024, which Baker did not win. Since then, she’s had a few stories come out about her, but Baker is expected to return soon for even more.
The story about Britt Baker causing MJF to put his first through a backstage wall before his hour-long match against Will Ospreay made headlines. That included a real-life suspension, but AEW worked it into the storyline. Since her last match, Baker hasn’t been seen, but that is bound to change.
Sean Ross Sapp reported on Fightful Select that Britt Baker was not on the road with AEW after All In. That being said, she set to return next week.
AEW has missed having their resident dentist around. Despite the drama in her personal life, as she split with Adam Cole, she could still be a vital part of the AEW women’s division. A lot of things changed in the company since her hiatus started, but she isn’t one to back down from any challenge.
Britt Baker was one of the company’s first signings, and the first woman that they inked to a deal other than Brandi Rhodes. Her history with All Elite Wrestling could do her well, but she will need to learn how to navigate the waters that have gotten really populated since Mercedes Mone, Kamille, Mariah May and others have joined the scene.
