Friday Night SmackDown continues to dominate as WWE’s flagship show, drawing in a significant weekly audience with its latest episode sparking considerable discussion and excitement.

According to WrestleNomics, the September 20th edition of Friday Night SmackDown saw a decrease in viewership, attracting 1,494,000 viewers, as the previous week’s show received 1.723 million viewers. Moreover, the show achieved a 0.45 rating in the key 18-49 demographic, a decrease from the previous week’s 0.55.

This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown saw Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes featured in a major segment in Atlanta, where Roman Reigns promised to help Rhodes destroy The Bloodline at Bad Blood, Bayley and Naomi also had a confusing double pinfall victory over Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton and many other such moments took place during the show.

It is clear WWE put in a lot of effort in order to build towards the Bad Blood Premium Live Event, which will be taking place in October. However, some fans may be surprised by the ratings for this week’s show, as they expected better.
