It’s Monday night, and you know what that means! WWE RAW will go down tonight, and Ringside News has got you covered with live play-by-play results coverage for the September 23, 2024 episode.

The show opens up with a shot of the WWE Universe waiting in line at a merch stand, while Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett welcomes us. We then get separate shots of WWE Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker, “Main Event” Jey Uso and “The Scottish Warrior” Drew McIntyre arriving at the arena.
We then get video footage of “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio and WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan arriving at the arena in a Lucha Low Rider. As Dominik and Morgan were walking through an open garage door, we see “The Monster Of All Monsters” Braun Strowman tackle “Big” Bronson Reed and they crash into a merch stand that was set up in the backstage area. Dominik and Morgan then walked past the carnage, while producers and others tried to get in between Strowman and Reed.
Dominik and Morgan then make their way down to the ring to address the WWE Universe. Liv Morgan starts off by mocking the fans and saying the Liv Morgan Revenge Tour is going exactly as planned. Morgan then sends us to a video of The Judgment Day attacking Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley after Priest defeated Dominik last week, then says she has kept her promise of taking everything from Ripley including the Women’s World Championship, Judgment Day and Dominik.
Rhea Ripley’s music then hits and she makes her way down to the ring. Ripley tells Morgan to quiet down and says that she’s not planning on attacking her tonight as she has something to tell Morgan. Dominik then stands in between Ripley and Morgan and Ripley asks him what he’s going to do. Morgan then intervenes and mocks Ripley by telling her that Dominik might have stayed with her if she didn’t care so much about Priest. Morgan then continues mocking Ripley by guessing that she is about to tell her that she isn’t cleared to challenge her for the Women’s World Championship at Bad Blood and she will beat her because she’s smarter than her. Ripley then informs Morgan that she’s been fully cleared for Bad Blood, then tells both Morgan and Dominik that Adam Pearce has made it official that Dominik will be in a Shark Cage on October 5. Ripley then tells Morgan that she’ll win back the Women’s World Championship with no one to help her and says she takes back what she said before, then headbutts Morgan and heads to the back.
Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett then talks about Dominik being in a shark cage at Bad Blood, then turns their focus on Sami Zayn’s issues with GUNTHER and Ludwig Kaiser while highlights were shown from last week. Sami Zayn then makes his way down to the ring for the first match of the night, which is a Singles Match and Ludwig Kaiser follows.
The match starts off with Kaiser shoving Zayn. Zayn then tosses his sweater to Kaiser in response to his shove and both men lock up. Kaiser then delivers some right hands on Zayn in the corner, but Zayn responds with several of his own and delivers some stomps on Kaiser in the corner. Kaiser then sends Zayn crashing into the corner, then sends him crashing into the ring steps and sends him back inside the ring. Kaiser then sends Zayn crashing into the ring post shoulder first, then drapes him by his knees and hits him with a dropkick on his chest. Kaiser then charges at Zayn, but Zayn nails him with a back elbow and follows it up with a double ax handle off the top rope. Zayn then clotheslines Kaiser out of the ring and follows it up with a chop on his chest, but Kaiser sends Zayn crashing into a chair in the timekeeper’s area. Kaiser then sits Zayn on the top rope and looks to hit him with a superplex. Zayn then avoids it and delivers some strikes on Kaiser, then nails him with a Sunset Flip powerbomb and goes for a pin. Kaiser then kicks out and Zayn hits him with an Exploder. Zayn then sets up for the Helluva Kick, but Kaiser rolls out of the ring before Zayn can hit it.
Kaiser then sends Zayn crashing into the ring steps and dropkicks him into them, then slides back into the ring as the referee begins a ten count. Zayn then beats it and Kaiser delivers some right hands on him. Zayn then returns the favor, then hits Kaiser with a clothesline and looks to hits him with a Blue Thunder Bomb. Kaiser then avoids it and rolls up Zayn, but the referee catches Kaiser with his feet on the ropes and stops the count. Kaiser then gets in the referee’s face, but turns around into an Exploder and Zayn sets up for the Helluva Kick. Kaiser then sees Zayn coming and hits a kick on him, then goes for a pin but Zayn kicks out. Kaiser then looks to send Zayn crashing into the mat, but Zayn escapes and hits Kaiser with a German suplex. Zayn then follows it up with a Helluva Kick for the win.

After the match, an angered GUNTHER makes his way down to the ring dressed in his ring gear. GUNTHER says Zayn has been begging for a World Heavyweight Championship for weeks and he’s seen enough, then says he thinks that Ontario, California is the right time for him to say no to a title match. GUNTHER then laughs and heads to the back as Zayn dares him to enter the ring with him.
Commentary then recaps everything that transpired last week between Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods.
We then head to the back, where Kofi Kingston approaches Xavier Woods and they quickly make peace. Kingston then brings up New Day’s ten-year anniversary and shows off a trombone and several boxes of Booty O’s. Woods says those things were great when they were on top, but they need to be more serious. Kingston then agrees and says Woods should call the shots for the next two weeks. American Made (Chad Gable, Julius Creed, Brutus Creed and Ivy Nile) then shows up. Both teams set up a match for later in the show. After American Made leaves, a man shows up with a plate of pancakes, but Kingston gives him the cut sign before Woods spots him.
Commentary then speaks at ringside and sets up a video package on the Bron Breakker vs. Jey Uso Match later tonight for the Intercontinental Title.
We then head to the back, where Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio complains to RAW General Manager Adam Pearce about the shark cage stipulation. Pearce says Dominik has interfered in every Women’s World Championship Match and his decision is final. Carlito and JD McDonagh then shows up after Pearce walks away. Morgan tells them they need to send The LWO a message. Dominik, Carlito and McDonagh then walks away and encounters Ilja Dragunov. McDonagh threatens Dragunov, who says Finn Bálor wasn’t there, which means McDonagh will do nothing. McDonagh then says Carlito has a match, but he will see him around.
LWO’s Dragon Lee then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night with Zelina Vega, Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro. Tessitore then hypes Dragon Lee vs. Carlito coming up next. Carlito then makes his way down to the ring with “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh.
The match starts off with Lee dropkicking Carlito through the ropes. Lee then hits a tope suicida on Carlito and sends him back inside the ring, then nails him with a boot and charges at him. Carlito then turns Lee inside out with a clothesline, then delivers some right hands and stomps on him. Lee then hits a hurricanrana on Carlito and trips him, then nails him with a kick from the apron and follows it up with a dropkick. Lee then climbs to the top, but JD McDonagh hops up on the apron. Cruz Del Toro then gets in McDonagh’s face, but McDonagh sends him crashing into the ring post as Dominik nails Joaquin Wilde. Rey Mysterio then appears out of nowhere and hits Dominik with a senton off the barricade, opening the door for Lee to hit a spinning Sidewalk Slam on Carlito for the win.

We then head to the back and see The Miz warming up when he was approached by Karrion Kross. Miz says he didn’t have time because he was preparing for Bronson Reed. Kross then tells Miz that he wants him to be the guy who doesn’t care what anyone thinks and will do whatever it takes to win. Kross then tells Miz that monsters come in all different shapes and sizes. Miz then says yes they do before walking away. Kross then smirks and repeats the same line.
Joe Tessitore then hypes WrestleMania 41 tickets going on sale on Friday and also plugs some pre-sale info. We then see a group of people from Netflix being shown in the front row.
We then head to the back, where Sheamus is bring interviewed by Cathy Kelley. Sheamus gets the fans to chant “call him Butch” regarding Pete Dunne. Sheamus then says he has a score to settle with Dunne. Sheamus then says he didn’t want to make it an English/Irish thing, but they should make it an English/Irish thing and refers to Dunne as Butch.
The Miz then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night and “Big” Bronson Reed follows. Once Reed arrives at ringside, Braun Strowman jumps off the ringside barricade and attacks him. Strowman then slams Reed on the apron. Miz then confronts Strowman and Reed dives onto both men. Reed then climbs up top for his finisher, but a bunch of security guards make their way down to the ring. Reed then tosses one security guard to the mat and then throws a second one on top of the first security guard. Reed then hits the Tsunami on both men. Strowman then fights off the security guards. Reed and Strowman then looks at one another and another wave of security make their way down to the ring and were cleared out. Reed and Strowman then charges at each other and hits each other with simultaneous clotheslines. Security then mobs Strowman, who fights them off and then catches Reed on the ropes. Strowman then sets up for a superplex, but security pulls him down. Strowman then breaks free and dropkicks Reed out of the ring. Strowman then roughs up more security guards. Strowman then goes up top and looks to dive on Reed, who is being held by security. Reed then backs up and he and Strowman then jaws at one another.
An ad then airs for Saturday Night’s Main Event returning to NBC on December 14 and tickets are plugged for the Long Island event.
Former NFL player Mark “Butt Fumble” Sanchez and the great Tool guitarist Adam Jones were then shown seated separately in the crowd.
“The Scottish Warrior” Drew McIntyre then makes his way down to the ring to address the WWE Universe. McIntyre starts off by saying CM Punk’s words from last week have been ringing through his head all week and he saw the look in his eyes and knew he meant every word. McIntyre then says he knew Punk was being truthful for once and like Punk’s sisters and wife, his own wife has begged him to get away from Punk and not compete in Hell In A Cell. McIntyre then says Punk has been broken easily in the past and he’ll break him once again in their Hell In A Cell Match.
We then head to the back, where Jackie Redmond asks RAW General Manager Adam Pearce how he plans to handle things between Bronson Reed and Braun Strowman. Pearce says a regular match won’t settle things. Pearce then books Reed vs. Strowman in a Last Monster Standing Match. Pearce then walks away as soon as he heard some commotion and he finds Pete Dunne hitting a cricket bat over the back of Sheamus. Dunne was then pulled way while Pearce checks on Sheamus.
Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night. We then head to the back, where WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill confronts Damage CTRL (IYO SKY and Kairi Sane). SKY says they are coming for the tag team titles. Cargill then says they won’t even touch the titles. Belair then says SKY and Sane should focus on Fyre and Dawn because they’ve had their number. Damage CTRL (IYO SKY and Kairi Sane) then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night.
The match starts off with IYO SKY and Isla Dawn. Both women lock up. Kairi Sane then tags in and double teams on Dawn with SKY before both women hit a double dropkick on Dawn. Sane then hits a right hand on Dawn’s chest in the corner and hits another one off the top rope. Sane then goes for a pin, but Dawn kicks out. Alba Fyre then wears down Sane in the corner from the apron as Dawn distracts the referee. Fyre then tags in and holds Sane in place. Dawn then looks to hit a right hand on Sane, but Sane ducks out of the way and Dawn almost inadvertently hits Fyre. SKY then tags in and hits a flapjack on Fyre. SKY then delivers some right hands on Fyre and sends Dawn crashing into Fyre, then hits a single leg dropkick on Dawn and a double dropkick on Fyre and Dawn off the top rope. SKY then delivers some forearms on Fyre and runs the ropes, but Fyre hits her with a superkick. Dawn then tags in and looks to hit a backstabber on SKY, but Sane saves her and sends Fyre crashing onto the floor. Sane then climbs to the top and hits the In-Sane Elbow on Fyre on the outside as SKY hits the Over The Moonsault on Dawn in the ring for the win.

We then head to the back, where WWE Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker is being interviewed by Cathy Kelley. Kelley asks Breakker what would it take to stop Jey Uso’s relentless pursuit of the title. Breakker says there will be a winner and a loser. Breakker then says someone will get his ass kicked and it will not be him. Breakker then says he might give Jey another shot at the belt a couple of months down the road after he works his way back up the ladder because he intends to be champion for a long time.
Joe Tessitore then hypes a replay of the Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes face-off from Smackdown.
A burning symbol then appears on the screen.
Joe Tessitore then touts that it is the 59th sellout of the year for WWE. Commentary then focused on the fan signs. The Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes face-off from Smackdown was then shown and commentary hypes their match against Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu at Bad Blood.
The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night, which is a Tag Team Match.
We then head to the back, where we see “Main Event” Jey Uso warming up when Sami Zayn approaches him. Zayn says the Intercontinental Title meant the world to him. Zayn then tells Jey to make the title his. Jey then thanks Zayn.
American Made’s Julius Creed and Brutus Creed then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night.
The match starts off with Xavier Woods and Julius Creed. Julius hits a shoulder tackle on Woods, then locks up and delivers a couple of right hands on his midsection and spine. Woods then returns the favor and nails Julius with a forearm and a splash in the corner. Kofi Kingston then tags in and hits a springboard crossbody on Julius. Brutus Creed and Woods then tag in and Woods continues wearing down Brutus. Kingston then tags back in and hits a flip off Woods’ shoulders on Brutus. Woods then tags back in, but Brutus delivers some chops on him in the corner before Julius hits a superplex on Kingston and Woods hits one on Brutus. Woods then hits a clothesline on Brutus and sends Julius crashing out of the ring. Kingston then gets in the ring and while the referee tries getting him out, American Made beats Woods down. Woods and Brutus then hit each other with forearms, but Brutus nails Woods with one and sits him on the top turnbuckle.
Woods then pushes Brutus off and hits a dropkick on him, then tags in Kingston as Julius tags in on his side. Kingston then hits a clothesline on Brutus off the top rope, then hits him with a dropkick and a roundhouse kick. Kingston then sends Julius crashing out of the ring to join Brutus, then hits a kick on Brutus’ chest off the apron and flies to land on The Creed Brothers. Kingston then sends Julius in the ring and hits him with a crossbody off the ropes, then goes for a pin but Julius kicks out. Kingston then hits the Boom Drop on Julius, but Julius gets Kingston up. Kingston then escapes and hits the Trouble In Paradise on Julius. Woods then calls to be tagged in and Kingston does so. Kingston then flies out of the ring to take down Brutus and Woods climbs to the top. Gable then gets in Woods’ face from the apron, but Woods drags him into the ring and delivers some right hands and stomps on him in the corner. Woods then turns around into a jumping knee from Julius. Julius then hits a shoulder tackle on Kingston before getting him up in an Electric Chair position and tagging in Brutus. Brutus then climbs to the top and hits him with the Brutus Ball for the win.

We then get a Damian Priest promo video. Priest recalls using the saying “Am I my brother’s keeper?” when he was younger. Priest then speaks about how life brought him to The Judgment Day and says it was a crew that became a family. Priest then says that family gave him a brother in Finn Bálor. Priest then recalls how they spoke about running WWE and did so. Priest then says Bálor always wanted it to be about himself. Priest then says Bálor had a face of envy when Rhea Ripley became a world champion. Priest then says no one acted happier on-camera than Bálor when he won the world championship, but he was also the first person out the door with a face of envy when the cameras were off. Priest then asks if he is his brother’s keeper. Priest then says he is and always will be, but Bálor is not his brother. Priest then ends things by speaking briefly in Spanish.
Joe Tessitore then hypes the Intercontinental Title Match and tells fans to get ready to Yeet. A Wyatt Sicks video is then shown and it has another QR code.
We then get a Pure Fusion Collective promo video. Sonya Deville speaks about how other teams put on spicy outfits and do stupid dances. Shayna Baszler then says they fight for dominance. Zoey Stark then says they are the foundation and the future of the women’s division. Deville then closes by saying if you want to step up, shoot your shot.
We then head to the back, where Rey Mysterio is accompanied by the rest of The LWO and he tries to apologize to Xavier Woods. Woods wasn’t having any of it and Rey tells Woods to take it up with Kingston because he had to worry about facing Finn Bálor next week. Woods then says Rey had time for Bálor, but not for him because he’s not a former world champion. Kingston then says Rey didn’t mean it like that and Woods blows up. Rey then says Bálor can wait and he’ll face Woods next week. After the LWO leaves, Woods continues to throw a fit at Kingston.
“Main Event” Jey Uso was then shown walking through the concourse, while fans was cheering him on. Jey then calls for his music to play and then he makes his way down to the ring for the main event of the night through the crowd.
We then get a video package on Bronson Reed vs. Braun Strowman.
The lineup for next week’s episode of WWE RAW is then announced and WWE Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker makes his way down to the ring for the main event.
The match starts off with Breakker hitting a shoulder tackle on Jey, but Jey responds with a right hand on Breakker that sends him crashing out of the ring. Jey then hits a tope suicida on Breakker. Jey then delivers some right hands on Breakker in the corner. Breakker then responds with a powerslam and delivers some shoulders on Jey’s midsection in the corner, then sends him into opposite corners and follows it up with a suplex. Breakker then sends Jey bouncing off the top rope and delivers more right hands on him, but Jey nails Breakker with an enzuigiri and clotheslines him out of the ring. Breakker then sends Jey crashing repeatedly off the announce desk. Jey then hits a Hip Attack on Breakker in the corner and pins him, but Breakker kicks out. Jey then climbs to the top and looks to fly, but Breakker sees him coming and hits him with a gutbuster. Jey then hits a Samoan Drop on Breakker and climbs to the top, but Breakker meets him up there and hits him with a Frankensteiner. Breakker then goes for a pin, but Jey kicks out.
Jey and Breakker then shove each other and exchange right hands before Breakker nails Jey and follows it up with a powerslam. Breakker then goes for a pin, but Jey kicks out. Breakker then hits a running spear on Jey outside the ring, then sends him back inside and runs the ropes looking to hit a second spear. Jey then hits Breakker with one of his own, then climbs to the top and hit the Uso Splash. Jey then goes for a pin, but Breakker kicks out. Breakker then looks to hit another spear on Jey on the outside, but Jey nails him with a superkick and spears Breakker through the barricades. Jey then gets Breakker back in the ring and hits another spear, then climbs to the top and hither the Uso Splash once more for the win.

After the match, the crowd popped as both men stays down and the referee hands the belt to Jey. Jey then gets to his feet and has his arm raised. Breakker then rolls out of the ring. Jey then exits through the other side of the ring and then hops the barricade and celebrates in the crowd while pyro goes off on the stage and the show comes to a close.
