WWE Issued DMCA Takedown on AEW’s Nigel McGuinness Video

As part of building excitement for the upcoming match against Danielson, AEW uploaded a “Best of Nigel McGuinness” video to their official YouTube channel. The video primarily focused on McGuinness’ time in ROH, highlighting his standout performances in the promotion.

However, WWE stepped in and issued a DMCA takedown on the video, leading to its removal from YouTube. While the specific reason behind the takedown remains unclear—especially since the video had no connection to McGuinness’ time as an NXT UK commentator—the move has raised questions among fans. It’s likely due to WWE’s strict policies on intellectual property, despite McGuinness’ ROH footage being unrelated to his WWE career.

Despite the takedown, Nigel McGuinness is staying focused on his upcoming match against Bryan Danielson, and fans are eagerly awaiting this showdown.
