WWE has a lot of people in the pipeline who could make a real difference for the company. Naturally, someone like Giulia is going to make a big difference, even though it took a while for her to become an “official” Superstar.
After making her big debut, Giulia has been officially added to the WWE roster. The former World of Stardom Champion made her WWE NXT debut at No Mercy, where she confronted NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez following Perez’s successful defense against Jaida Parker. It is apparent that WWE placed Giulia on top of the women’s division for the black and gold brand.
Giulia is set to challenge Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women’s Championship at the October 1 NXT debut show on the CW Network in Chicago. Now that Giulia is finally on the official roster page, it appears that her place in WWE is solid.
Giulia’s profile on WWE.com describes her as “The Beautiful Madness” and highlights her as a world-renowned competitor with many accolades.
“The Beautiful Madness is in NXT to usher in a new era.
A world-renowned competitor with countless accolades to her name, Giulia is in NXT and prepared to show why she’s universally heralded as one of the best in the world.
Giulia follows in the footsteps of former NXT Women’s Champions Asuka, IYO SKY and Kairi Sane who all successfully made the jump from Japan to NXT.”
Giulia had a lot of hype behind her WWE debut. There was a slight delay in her getting to WWE television, because she suffered a wrist injury while wrestling in Japan. She also stuck around Japan for a bit longer to help Rossy Ogawa open his Marigold company.
We will have to see if Giulia gets a rocket strapped to her back on October 1. Seeing her win the NXT Women’s Title would certainly be a big way to get the black and gold brand’s time started on The CW. Tickets for NXT’s October 1 show can still be bought at TicketMaster.
Giulia has a lot of eyes on her, and she’s received praise from all over as well. This is just the beginning for the 30-year-old Superstar. For more updates on this story, and so much more, please keep checking back with us here at Ringside News.
