The WWE Universe has been witnessing the brewing romantic angle between Rhea Ripley and Jey Uso for weeks. The angle came into full effect following Ripley’s return to WWE after recovering from a shoulder injury and Jey making a straight move at her.

Over the weeks, Jey Uso began persuading Mami only for her to continue being on the side of her former Latino Heat, Dominik Mysterio. However, after Dominik betrayed her at SummerSlam, Rhea finally began to take interest in Jey as well.

Since then, WWE has placed them in multiple angles and segments together, with Jey Uso becoming hers and Damian Priest’s ally in their heated feud with the new Judgment Day while Mami continues to tease her interest in The YEET Man on social media regularly.

On the September 23 edition of Monday Night RAW, Jey Uso was scheduled to compete against Bron Breakker for the WWE Intercontinental Championship in the main event. As he was making his way to the ring from the crowd, Rhea Ripley came out from the backstage area at the side of the entrance area, as seen in a video on her Instagram.

“Good luck, Uce! 💙WWERAW #YEET.”

Ripley came out and began doing the YEET chant alongside the members of the WWE Universe as her way to wish Jey Uso good luck for his title match. With the interest level growing by the week, it seems that WWE might finally pair the two as an onscreen couple and begin a new storyline for their television programming.
