WWE has several key referees, but that doesn’t mean the company isn’t open to hiring more and bringing in fresh faces. In fact, this is why WWE has recently hired a new referee for NXT.

Female referees are quite common in WWE right now, with the likes of Jessika Carr being a prime example of an excellent referee. The referees in NXT are new in comparison and now another referee has joined their ranks.

According to a report by PWInsider, Victoria D’Errico has been hired by WWE and will serve as a referee for the NXT brand. D’Errico participated in a WWE tryout during WrestleMania week in Philadelphia earlier this year and has a background in boxing.

We will have to wait and see when Victoria D’Errico will begin her journey as a referee now that she is officially part of the WWE family. After all, fans have big expectations from her considering her prowess in the world of professional wrestling.
