Mexican wrestler El Hijo del Vikingo, who has received tons attention in the professional wrestling world, has been sidelined due to a knee injury. However, it appears he has now been cleared for in-ring action.

On February 17, 2024, Vikingo partnered with Psycho Clown and Wotan at AULL Rencor Extremo but suffered a loss against Negocio Traumado. The match was stopped due to an injury to Vikingo’s right knee.

It was confirmed that he underwent the surgery successfully, and he started rehabbing almost immediately afterwards. He had to relinquish the AAA Mega Championship due to injury as well.

After spending more than seven months recovering from a torn meniscus, former AAA Mega Champion El Hijo del Vikingo has received medical clearance to return to action. According to a report from The Wrestling Observer, the high-flying luchador is planning to make his in-ring comeback on September 27.
