Turbo Floyd and Truth Magnum, collectively known as The Outrunners, have taken the wrestling world by storm. Known for their nostalgic 80s-inspired vignettes and enthusiastic live show reactions, the duo has garnered significant attention from All Elite Wrestling.
According to sources via Fightful Select, AEW has been thrilled with the reception they’ve received, and it seems a push for the team is expected to continue.
“We’re told that AEW has been very happy with their reactions and reception, and a push is expected to continue.”
Despite their growing popularity, there has been no official “All Elite” graphic to confirm their signing with the promotion. However, The Outrunners have been working with AEW and Ring of Honor regularly for over a year. Prior to their AEW and ROH appearances, Floyd and Magnum were familiar faces on the NWA and OVW scenes.
Sources within AEW have confirmed that the duo is under contract, although the specifics—such as the nature of the contract or the date it was signed—remain undisclosed. When asked directly about their AEW status, The Outrunners gave a playful response:
“I can neither confirm nor deny that we are old enough/too young to sign or not sign.”
As their momentum continues to build, fans can expect to see more from The Outrunners in AEW.
