Carmelo Hayes, a rising star in WWE, has had the unique experience of working under both Shawn Michaels and Triple H during his career. Hayes, who was a key figure during the NXT 2.0 era under Michaels’ creative leadership, is now part of the WWE SmackDown roster, where he works closely with Triple H.

In a recent appearance on The Masked Man Show, Hayes shared his thoughts on the differences between the two WWE legends as creative leaders. According to Hayes, Shawn Michaels is much more outwardly passionate and emotive with his creative direction, while Triple H maintains a calm and collected demeanor.

“It’s a positive, it’s not a negative at all. I think Shawn is very, he reacts with passion and emotion. With Hunter, he’s very calm and cool all the time, so it’s never like you ever see him get out of pocket or nothing. He’s very calm and cool all the time.”

“There’s nothing against being passionate and emotional at all, but you’ve got to be a little bit sharper with Shawn sometimes because he has a vision and he wants the vision to come true. If it doesn’t come true, he’s passionate. Hunter is passionate as well, don’t get me wrong, but he’s just kinda cool. He’s not gonna yell at you or anything.”

Hayes’ comparison echoes recent comments from The Undertaker, who noted that WWE operates with a calmer environment under Triple H’s leadership, following the retirement of Vince McMahon.
