Mickie James Gains Support for WWE Hall of Fame Induction

Mickie James spent the last few years competing in TNA before leaving the promotion last year. She hasn’t been part of WWE’s active roster for a while, but there is now growing support for her to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

The six-time Women’s Champion parted ways with WWE in 2021. Her husband, Nick Aldis, later joined the company and took on the role of SmackDown’s General Manager last year.

In a recent interview with Wrestling Then And Now, Cherry shared her thoughts on Mickie James, calling her a great person and hard worker. She believes Mickie, now the Creative Director at OVW, should definitely be in the WWE Hall of Fame.

Cherry has wrestled with Mickie in the past and saw her progress in OVW, so she wasn’t surprised by Mickie’s success. She talked about Mickie’s strong work ethic, how she helps other wrestlers, and her fun, goofy personality, making her a joy to be around.

“Oh, legend, needs to be in the Hall of Fame. Overall, just amazing person, worker. I wrestled her on the indies. You know, I saw her in OVW. She was kind of in a different class going up. I mean, not surprised of her success at all. You know, talented, great person, works hard, work ethic, just gives back to other talent on her own time. Like, you know, incredible incredible person, funny, super funny and goofy and laughs at herself and, you know, great to be around.”

Mickie James has also hinted at her WWE return in a new role. Regardless, we will have to wait and see whether James will end up being inducted into the WWE Hall of Famer, as many fans feel she more than deserves the accolade.
