For the past few months now, Anthony Bowens has been sharing clips on social media where he’s seen practicing his hitting. He’s been gearing up for a chance to participate in Jose Canseco’s Going Yard: Home Run Derby, showing his dedication to the event.

Anthony Bowens’ efforts have clearly gotten results as he took to Twitter and announced that he will participate in the Going Yard Home Run Derby on October 5. The event will be taking place at Constellation Field and will include Andruw Jones, Rafael Palmeiro, Jose Canseco, Josh Reddick, Antonio Brown, and Johnny Manziel as well.
