This “Title vs. Mask” match earned an impressive ****3/4 rating from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. In the end, Mysterio emerged victorious, preserving his mask and securing the title.

Tragically, Latino Heat, Eddie Guerrero, passed away on November 13, 2005, at the age of 38 due to heart failure, which may have been linked to his past struggles with drug and alcohol abuse. His final match took place just one day earlier, on November 12, 2005, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he faced Batista for the World Heavyweight Championship.

You can check out the watch-along video from WWE’s Vault below. It’s hard to predict what other hidden treasures might surface next, but this one is definitely a must-watch for any wrestling fan.
