Professional wrestling is a very physical business, and injuries can happen at any time inside the squared circle. That’s why it comes as no surprise that an NXT star recently lost one of his teeth during a match.
In the September 20th episode of NXT Level Up, Shiloh Hill went up against Mark Coffey from the Gallus faction. Coffey emerged victorious, pinning Hill after delivering a powerful Bull Hammer elbow strike.
During the slow-motion replays, viewers noticed something fly out of Hill’s mouth after the hit. When the camera returned to the ring, it revealed Hill in the corner with a noticeable gap where one of his incisor teeth used to be. The missing tooth was also seen on the ring canvas after it flew out during the match.
A fan then took to Twitter and asked Shiloh Hill whether he was able to find his tooth that flew out during the match. Hill confirmed that he was able to locate it, bringing relief to fans.
”Did you find it?
Yeth.”
Shiloh Hill has been wrestling for WWE NXT since March. The former college football star started by competing at house shows before making his debut on NXT Level Up in June.
This just goes to show how physical professional wrestling can be but it is certainly a relief that Shiloh Hill did not end up losing his teeth for good. After all, with NXT Level Up set to continue in the coming weeks, Hill will remain a featured star there and wanted to make sure he had all of his teeth intact.
