Two former WWE stars are headed to NWA, as Primo and Epico Colón have been confirmed for an upcoming debut. The NWA has announced that the real-life cousins will be appearing at a pair of tapings early next month.

In an official statement, NWA’s Bryan Idol expressed his excitement about the addition of the Colóns to the roster:

“The Colóns are very real threats to any champion in the NWA. I’m so happy to see the people of Puerto Rico represented in such a huge way. They are such passionate wrestling fans, and now they can see two of their favorites in the National Wrestling Alliance. Both are huge, huge stars in Puerto Rico and around the world. Bringing veterans like Primo and Epico to the National Wrestling Alliance — and having a world-traveled duo like this in our locker room — is a tremendous addition to NWA’s already stacked tag team division.”

Primo and Epico will make their NWA debut at tapings set for October 5 and 6 in Tampa, Florida. The duo is known for their success in WWE, where they held the WWE Tag Team Championship before being released in April 2020.

Primo Colón, the brother of Judgment Day member Carlito, also shared the WWE Tag Team Championship with Carlito during their time in WWE. Now, the Colóns are bringing their veteran experience to NWA’s tag team division, poised to shake things up and add even more competition to the roster.
