Matt Morgan, who first gained attention through WWE’s Tough Enough program and competed in several matches between 2004 and 2005, eventually left WWE and found success in TNA. Despite his departure from WWE, it seems he is open to making a return for a one-off appearance at the Royal Rumble.

After departing from WWE, Morgan took on several wrestling opportunities with TNA/IMPACT and New Japan Pro Wrestling before ultimately retiring from full-time wrestling in 2014.

On a recent episode of the Gigantic Pop podcast, a fan asked TNA legend Matt Morgan if he would be open to returning for a spot in a Royal Rumble match under Triple H’s leadership. Morgan responded that he would consider doing a one-off appearance but has no interest in coming back as a full-time competitor.

“Is it a one-off? Okay, if it’s a one-off, probably yeah. I have no desire to wrestle wrestle, hell no!”

In addition to his wrestling career, Morgan currently holds the position of District 4 City Commissioner in Longwood, Florida. Therefore, we will have to wait and see if Morgan will return to WWE at the Royal Rumble next year.
