The premiere episode of WWE SmackDown on USA Network ended with a big surprise—Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes teamed up to face Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu in a tag team match at WWE Bad Blood. While they have joined forces, Rhodes is still unsure if he can trust Reigns.
On the September 20 episode of SmackDown, the tension between them grew when Reigns and Rhodes met face-to-face at Georgia Tech’s field in Atlanta. The scene seemed like something out of a movie—Reigns showed up in a line of cars, walking confidently onto the field. Then Cody arrived in a stylish sports car, setting the stage for their showdown.
Reigns promised Rhodes that he would have his back at WWE Bad Blood when they take on Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu of The Bloodline. But Reigns also hinted that he wants something back that belongs to him.
After the meeting, Rhodes shared photos from the encounter on Twitter, mentioning that he is still unsure if Reigns will keep his word ahead of the Bad Blood Premium Live Event.
“Let’s see if you’re a man of your word, @WWERomanReigns #WWEBadBlood”
We will have to wait and see whether The Head of The Table will actually keep his word and help Cody Rhodes decimate The Bloodline, or whether he will simply betray Cody Rhodes in the end. Fans will certainly get an answer at the Bad Blood Premium Live Event next month, so it is a matter of time.
Will Roman Reigns stay loyal to Cody Rhodes at WWE Bad Blood, or is this partnership already falling apart? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
