AEW is always looking ahead when it comes to building a business in certain key markets, which was the case during AEW’s visit to Arlington, Texas. Interestingly enough, tonight’s episode of Collision is expected to bring in significant revenue for Springfield, MA.
According to WWLP Channel 22 in Springfield, MA, the September 21st episode of AEW Collision will be the company’s first live TV show at the MassMutual Center in Springfield. The local news revealed that the event is expected to bring in around $220,000 in economic impact for the area.
Ahead of tonight’s show, Darby Allin ended up attacking Mark Sterling at Springfield, MA City Hall to promote the show. The Outrunners were also present at the venue for good measure.
Tonight’s episode of AEW Collision will feature Darby Allin facing off against Evil Uno in singles competition, FTR and The Outrunners teaming up with HOOK to battle The Beast Mortos and the Grizzled Young Veterans, Mariah May taking on Lady Frost and other solid matches for fans. Therefore, we’ll have to wait and see if AEW will end up returning to Springfield after helping them bring in such substantial revenue.
