AEW’s roster currently has a few stars sidelined due to various reasons, and injuries and illnesses are an unfortunate part of the business that can’t be ignored. However, there is some positive news regarding AEW star Rebel, who has been absent from in-ring action.

After being hospitalized earlier this year with pneumonia, Rebel recently provided an encouraging update on her health and recovery. The AEW talent has faced a series of health challenges, but is now on the mend.

In May 2024, Rebel was hospitalized due to a mass found on her lungs. After a series of CT scans, it was determined that the mass was caused by pneumonia, along with some other minor issues that she’s been addressing.

Recently, Rebel took to Instagram to share a post-surgery update. She is still on the mend, but she is also watching AEW and encouraged all fans to do the same.

Rebel’s post was met with an outpouring of support from fans and fellow wrestlers. They are sending their best to Rebel as she makes it back to better health.

Rebel’s most recent in-ring appearance occurred in February 2024 when she returned for GLCW, teaming with Harley Cameron in a victorious bout against Gema & Sophie Rose at the Beauties and the Beasts IV event. She was last seen on AEW television in November 2021, teaming with Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter,

In June 2024, reports emerged that Rebel was spotted backstage at WWE NXT, raising speculation about her future plans. For now, fans will be relieved to hear that she is recovering well and remains engaged with AEW content.
