A major match on WWE SmackDown this Friday just got even more intense, thanks to an announcement by General Manager Nick Aldis.

The highly anticipated tag team match featuring Bayley and Naomi versus WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax and Ms. Money in the Bank Tiffany Stratton has been turned into a tornado tag match.

The match, set to take place at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California, was originally a standard tag team bout. However, Aldis took to social media to explain his decision to change the format. He pointed out that the original stipulation—where if Bayley or Naomi secured the pinfall, they would earn a shot at Jax’s WWE Women’s Championship—was “a little unfair.” Aldis noted that either Bayley or Naomi could refuse to tag in the other to get the advantage. With that in mind, he made the match a tornado tag, meaning no tags and anything goes, to level the playing field.

The stakes remain incredibly high: if Bayley or Naomi win, the one who scores the pin gets a shot at Jax’s title. But if either woman is pinned or submitted, she must leave SmackDown forever.
