You never know what can happen during a live television broadcast, especially when pro wrestling is involved. The September 17 WWE NXT was quite the show as they continued building momentum toward their CW debut. However, they had to work through a minor mishap along the way.

This week’s episode of NXT also had an interesting internal name tied to CM Punk. The Second City Saint made two appearances during the night, enforcing his authority in his own style.

The show featured a variety of exciting angles and attention-grabbing matches. One notable moment saw Rosemary crossing through the Forbidden Door from TNA Wrestling to team up with Wendy Choo, taking on Lyra Valkyria and Tatum Paxley. This match was a treat for fans of women’s wrestling, though it experienced a brief technical glitch during the contest.

Sean Ross Sapp reported on Fightful Select that there was a production error during the 9/17 NXT broadcast on USA. The commercial break that took place during the Lyra Valkyria & Tatum Paxley vs. Rosemary & Wendy Choo tag-team match was supposed to be shown in a split-screen, picture-in-picture format.

While this wasn’t the biggest technical hiccup that can occur on live TV, many fans may not have noticed the issue at all. However, one thing is certain—viewers missed out on the picture-in-picture feature during that match.

WWE is bringing NXT to The CW on October 1, and they will be coming from Chicago’s Allstate Arena. Tickets for that show are available at TicketMaster. The black and gold brand is going to St. Louis on October 8 as well, and tickets for that show at The Factory went on sale yesterday through TicketMaster.
