Rebel has been off AEW television for some time as fans continue to wonder what she as been doing during her hiatus. In fact, Rebel recently underwent successful surgery as she continues to address ongoing health issues.

Rebel was widely recognized as Britt Baker’s right-hand woman throughout her time on AEW television. However, her role ended when Baker and Jamie Hayter turned babyface in 2023, and Rebel has been absent from TV since August last year.

Earlier this month, Rebel revealed that she was hospitalized in May due to a lung mass that was initially undiagnosed but turned out to be pneumonia. She added that she is still dealing with more health complications afterwards.

Rebel took to her Instagram and uploaded a couple of photos of herself at the hospital, revealing that she underwent successful surgery and that it was the third time she went under anaesthesia in the past 4 months.

”Third time going under anesthesia in the past 4 months and I’m grateful surgery went well today. 🙏🏼 I’m on the mend ya’ll 🫶🏼 and I’m excited for it. And best believe I’m watching @aew dynamite tonight and you should too”

We have also reported that Rebel remains under contract with AEW during her extended hiatus. Nonetheless, we give Rebel our best and hope she makes a full recovery and eventually makes her return to AEW television somewhere down the line.
