Alexa Bliss has kept fans eagerly awaiting her return to the ring after taking time away from WWE in early 2023 due to her pregnancy. However, she has made the most of her time during hiatus by being involved in a Netflix project.
The former WWE Women’s Champion took to her Instagram stories to reveal that she became a part of the Netflix series ‘The Queen of Villains’ as a voiceover artist. The series tells the story of professional female wrestler Dump Matsumoto, who achieved fame in the 1980s. Bliss later dropped a BTS look from the recording session on her Instagram.
The Queen of Villains stars Yuriyan Retriever as Dump Matsumoto in the main role. Alexa Bliss vends the voice of Maki Ueda, portrayed by Haruka Imou, a wrestler part of a tag team known as Beauty Pair. Bliss also revealed that this was her first time as a voiceover artist and expressed gratitude to the entire team for the experience.
“Thank you @therealtimmyred for being so amazing w/ my first time with voiceover and taking the time to help me every Step of the way (especially the singing). I am truly grateful for this experience and honored to have voiced for Maki Ueda in this incredible Series. The Queen of Villians is now available on @netflix.”
Despite not having wrestled since losing to Bianca Belair at the 2023 Royal Rumble, Alexa Bliss continues to involve herself in outside projects, spend time with her family and prepare for her in-ring return, dropping hints for the fans regarding her comeback, though no specific date has been confirmed.
Fans will have to stay patient as the WWE Universe awaits the comeback of “Little Miss Bliss.” In the meantime, they can hear her voice as part of The Queen of Villians series on Netflix now.
