AEW experienced quite a few surprises this year, with one of them being Deonna Purrazzo’s debut for the company back in January. Purrazzo is one of the top stars in AEW’s women’s division and it appears AEW has some interesting plans for her.
Deonna Purrazzo signed with AEW in January 2024 and made her debut as a signed talent on the January 3rd edition of AEW Dynamite. She eventually feuded with Toni Storm and then got locked into a solid feud with Thunder Rosa.
According to a report by PWInsider, AEW is currently discussing creating a faction centered around Deonna Purrazzo. The report does not specify the progress of these discussions or who might join Purrazzo in this potential group.

Recently, she has been engaged in a feud with Thunder Rosa that culminated in a brutal Bullrope match. Purrazzo then faced Hikaru Shida in a match on Collision earlier this month, which she lost. Therefore, we’ll have to wait and see when AEW will end up debuting a new faction for Purrazzo, as fans are excited about her future in the company.
