AEW continues to make significant strides in the wrestling world, and there’s a growing buzz surrounding a potential new show, AEW Shockwave. Rumors are swirling that AEW is working with FOX to air the new program on FS1, marking a major partnership between the two companies.
On September 6, AEW filed a trademark for “AEW: Shockwave” with the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, and while the trademark is still under review, reports suggest that the show could air on FS1. Fans are excited by the possibility, and it seems that discussions between AEW and FOX are ongoing, pointing toward a significant new chapter for the wrestling promotion.
Fueling the speculation, AEW announced on Twitter that NFL Films Presents will air a special tonight called “A Day in the Life of AEW GM & CEO Tony Khan.” The special, which showcases Khan during a busy day at the NFL Draft and a live AEW Collision event, will air at 7:30 PM ET / 6:30 PM CT on FS1, just before AEW Dynamite kicks off on TBS.

The airing of the Tony Khan special on FS1 could be a strong indication that AEW and FOX are close to finalizing a deal for AEW Shockwave. While nothing is confirmed yet, the timing of this special has only fueled excitement about an official announcement.
