Rikishi Rules Out Real-Life Bloodline Member Joining WWE

The ongoing evolution of The Bloodline storyline in WWE, now led by Solo Sikoa as the new “Head of the Table,” has seen new faces like Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu join the fold. With so many Anoa’i family members already involved, fans have speculated whether more real-life Bloodline members might step into the ring. However, Rikishi has ruled out one potential addition to WWE: his niece, Vaughan Anoa’i.

Rumors about Vaughan joining WWE intensified after a backstage photo of her with Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu at SmackDown recently went viral. Fans were quick to wonder if she could be the next member of the legendary family to enter the wrestling business.

During a recent episode of his Fatu off the Top podcast, Rikishi addressed the speculation, clarifying that Vaughan’s focus is elsewhere—she’s dedicated to volleyball and doesn’t seem likely to pursue a wrestling career.

“I don’t see her joining WWE and the wrestling business,” Rikishi said. “If, by some miracle, she convinced her dad [Black Pearl] and mom to go into the wrestling business, maybe. But I always tell our kids, ‘Go do something else, but always know it’s there.’”

While Vaughan’s path may not lead to WWE, Rikishi remains supportive of younger family members exploring careers outside of wrestling, keeping the option open for the future.

In the meantime, WWE might still see another Anoa’i family member make their debut soon, with Hikuleo being a potential candidate ahead of the Survivor Series Premium Live Event. Though not every member of The Bloodline can—or wants to—become a professional wrestler, Rikishi is more than content with that reality.
