AEW’s women’s division has seen significant growth over the past year, with several high-profile stars like Mercedes Mone, Deonna Purrazzo, and Kamille joining the company. Alongside these new additions, AEW’s women’s division has received plenty of praise for its depth and booking, particularly for storylines like the ongoing feud between Toni Storm and Mariah May.
During an interview on Rasslin’ with Brandon F. Walker, AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy shared his thoughts on the state of AEW’s women’s division, confidently stating that he believes it’s the best ever assembled.
“I also think AEW right now probably has the best women’s division ever assembled. I feel very strongly about that,” Cassidy said. He highlighted the return of Jamie Hayter, adding, “We all know how great Jamie Hayter is.”
Cassidy went on to praise Mercedes Mone, Kris Statlander, Willow Nightingale, and Anna Jay, who is currently honing her skills in STARDOM.
Cassidy also hinted that more talent could be returning soon, stating, “We have more coming back that have been away.” He expressed excitement for what lies ahead for the division, which continues to grow in both talent and storytelling.
With AEW’s women’s division receiving accolades from both fans and stars like Cassidy, the future looks bright for the roster.
