CM Punk, one of WWE’s biggest superstars, recently voiced his frustrations over fans invading his privacy at airports, calling for better etiquette. This sparked a playful response from NXT Champion Ethan Page, who trolled Punk with a clever jab on social media.

Taking to Twitter, Page shared an edited image of himself signing an autograph for NBA star Tyrese Haliburton at an airport, poking fun at Punk’s complaint about fan behavior.

The photo came from the September 17 edition of WWE NXT, where Page signed the contract for his upcoming NXT Championship defense against Trick Williams. Page captioned his post, “The fans at the airport are getting to be obnoxious. Respect the talent’s privacy. Please,” further trolling Punk’s remarks.

Adding fuel to the fire, Tyrese Haliburton brought CM Punk into the mix during that same episode, revealing Punk as the Special Guest Referee for Page’s title match against Williams. Punk, always one to demand respect and authority, made it clear that both competitors would have to listen to him when the match goes down on the premiere episode of NXT on The CW Network on October 1 in Chicago, Illinois.

With Ethan Page already taking playful shots at the man who will call the shots in his title defense, the question remains: will CM Punk’s involvement end up being the key to Page’s downfall? Or will Page continue his meteoric rise in WWE NXT despite Punk’s looming authority? Only time will tell.

What are your thoughts on Ethan Page trolling CM Punk? Could this tension affect the outcome of their upcoming match? Let us know in the comments!
