AEW Confirms New Team Name for Latest Tag Team

AEW fans were treated to a fun development as FTR and The Outrunners officially solidified their partnership with a new team name: FTRunners.

This unique pairing, which originally teamed up during an in-ring moment on AEW Collision, will now compete under their newly confirmed moniker, as shown in an on-screen graphic during the September 18 Dynamite episode for an upcoming match.

The FTRunners are set to team up with HOOK for a match against The Beast Mortos, the Grizzled Young Veterans, Rush, and Roderick Strong on AEW Collision.

In other AEW news, Hangman Adam Page intensified his rivalry with Swerve Strickland, vowing to hunt down anyone who supports Strickland. This led to a heated moment when Page gestured menacingly toward Tony Schiavone, prompting Jeff Jarrett to run out and confront him. The two had a brief scuffle before security intervened.

Additionally, a huge match has been set for the AEW International Championship as Ricochet issued a challenge to Will Ospreay for a title match in two weeks on AEW Dynamite.
