The heated rivalry between Wes Lee and his former MSK cohorts, Zachary Wentz and Trey Miguel, has been prevalent for weeks on WWE NXT. Last week, The Rascalz were scheduled to battle for the NXT tag team championships against Fraxiom.
However, before the show, NXT GM Ava announced that The Rascalz had been replaced by The Street Profits to compete in the match with no reason given to the fans, until Zachary Wentz showed up on NXT to reveal what exactly happened.
On the September 17 edition of WWE NXT, Zachary Wentz came inside the ring to shed light on the same, asking the WWE production truck to play a footage that explained the reason for their absence from the tag team title match last week.
As the footage rolled, Trey Miguel was seen approaching his car in a parking lot. As he sat inside and closed the door, Wes Lee could be seen coming out of nowhere and attacking him to the point that The Rascalz had to be replaced in the match.
As Wes Lee cost them a huge opportunity, Zachary Wentz remained laser-focused on their upcoming Street Fight on the October 1 edition of WWE NXT when the show moves to the CW network.
