Mike Rome, a longtime WWE announcer working for the promotion since 2019, recently shared exciting personal news — he is now a father. Rome, whose real name is Austin Michael Romero announced the birth of his son, Salem James Romero.

The long-time WWE ring announcer announced the exciting news last week and now given a glimpse of his son to the world. Mike Rome took to his X to drop a black and white photo of his son, Salem, embracing ‘Dad Life’ while also watching the September 17 edition of WWE NXT at the same time

Mike Rome has been noticeably absent from WWE NXT broadcasts recently, with Alicia Taylor stepping in as his temporary replacement. This absence aligns with his return to NXT earlier in 2024 after previously announcing for SmackDown, allowing him to be closer to his home in Orlando, Florida.

It can be said that Mike Rome took leave of absence due to the birth of his child and spend time with him as he was welcomed to his life recently bringing a new light of joy and happiness in it.
