WWE always wants to make sure their top stars are locked into deals, and now one more Superstar has officially inked a new contract. At 46-years-old, Sheamus has agreed to a new contract with WWE.
Sean Ross Sapp reported on Fightful Select that sources have confirmed that Sheamus’ contract was extended due to injury time, and he has now committed to a long-term deal with WWE.
Sheamus has officially signed a new multi-year contract with WWE, securing his place in the company for the foreseeable future. After reports in September 2023 indicated that the Celtic Warrior had suffered a shoulder injury, his future in WWE was uncertain as his contract was set to expire earlier in the year.
Sheamus made his triumphant return to the ring on the April 15, 2024 WWE RAW where he defeated Ivar. Just days later, during Night 1 of the WWE Draft, Sheamus was officially drafted to the RAW brand, signaling a fresh chapter in his WWE career.
With a storied history in WWE, Sheamus is a decorated champion, having held the WWE Championship three times, the World Heavyweight Championship once, and the United States Championship three times. His return and new contract come as great news for fans, as Sheamus remains a vital part of WWE’s future.
Sheamus’ new contract ensures that he will continue to be a top player in the company, and his return from injury marks the beginning of another exciting chapter in his already illustrious career.
