WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam, known for popping up unexpectedly, made a surprise appearance at the September 13th episode of SmackDown, and fans in Seattle were treated to quite a night. With legends like Vickie Guerrero, Teddy Long, and RVD spotted in the crowd, it was a memorable event. But now, RVD is sharing what he was really up to backstage during the show.

Speaking on his 1 of a Kind podcast, RVD revealed he spent time with fellow legends Booker T, Ron Simmons, and Teddy Long in a shared dressing room. Vickie Guerrero was also there, and the group enjoyed catching up. But that’s not all—RVD hinted at some filming going on behind the scenes, which could be for a big project.

“Booker T, um, Ron Simmons, and Teddy—we were all in one Legends dressing room, just us brothers. And, uh, Vicky was there. I probably saw those guys more. We did some interviews for something. I don’t know if it’s going to be a DVD, or if it’s actually going to be, I think, a Netflix kind of release. I’m not really sure. But yeah, we all did. You know, we all took turns going back and doing some interviews and stuff. So, that was cool,” RVD shared.

RVD also revealed that his appearance on SmackDown was a last-minute decision, adding to the excitement. While no official word has come out on what this mystery project could be, fans are buzzing with speculation.
