Pete Dunne has been portrayed as a heel since betraying Sheamus earlier this year on Monday Night RAW. He also used to be known as Butch for a very long time and after the events of RAW this week, it appears he has confirmed the end of his feud with The Celtic Warrior.

Pete Dunne and Sheamus have been embroiled in an intense rivalry over the past few weeks. Dunne holds Sheamus responsible for the “Butch” phase of his career and has launched multiple attacks against him.

Sheamus managed to defeat Dunne on the August 19th episode of WWE Raw, but Dunne avenged the loss by beating Sheamus on the September 16th episode of Monday Night RAW.

During an appearance on WWE Raw Talk, Dunne expressed his excitement over his victory, stating that he was happy to finally be rid of Sheamus, confirming the feud was over. He added that landing a Brogue Kick on Sheamus made the win even sweeter and hoped he would never have to hear Sheamus’ name again.

“I’m absolutely buzzing. I finally got that Irish muppet off my back, and I hit him with a Brogue Kick. What a way to do it. Sheamus, he’s in the past. You know the best bit about it? I don’t think I ever have to hear that name again.”

We will have to wait and see what’s next in store for Pete Dunne now that his feud with The Celtic Warrior is done for good, as fans feel he should definitely go back to the title picture.
