AEW Star Rebel’s Status During Extended Television Absence Revealed

Rebel has earned recognition as one of Britt Baker’s biggest supporters during her time as AEW Women’s Champion. While she remains absent from AEW television, her status with the company has been confirmed.

Rebel was widely recognized as Britt Baker’s right-hand woman throughout her time on AEW television. However, her role ended when Baker and Jamie Hayter turned babyface in 2023, and Rebel has been absent from TV since August last year.

Rebel’s last match on AEW Dynamite was in November 2021, and her most recent bout with the company took place in August 2022. Despite her extended inactivity, Sean Ross Sapp mentioned on the Fightful Select Q&A Podcast that she is still under contract. However, Sapp also noted that she is “rarely there.”

In the meantime, Rebel has been dealing with considerable health issues during her absence from AEW television. Therefore, we’ll have to wait and see if she will ever return to AEW television, as she is still under contract with the company.
