Michael Cole, WWE’s veteran commentator, has found himself in many unique situations throughout his career. One particularly unfortunate incident took place during Vickie Guerrero’s “Thanksgiving Leftovers Party” on WWE SmackDown in November 2013.

The event featured a food-eating contest between Titus O’Neil and The Great Khali. After Khali passed out face-first into a pie, Darren Young declared O’Neil the winner. The prize was a match against Cesaro. O’Neil, feeling unwell from overeating, had a tough time during the match, which led Young to intervene and get a disqualification to save his partner from Cesaro’s swing.

After the match, things took a turn for the worse. O’Neil ended up vomiting into JBL’s hat, which then got placed onto Cole’s head, causing Cole to crawl away, struggling to control his own urge to vomit. O’Neil also vomited on Zeb Colter and his own hand.

While speaking on ‘What Were They Thinking with JBL & Brisco,” JBL talked about the incident and explained the mix-up. O’Neil was supposed to spew a fake vomit mixture, but he accidentally drank it, leading to real vomit being thrown up on Cole. JBL recalled the awkward moment when Cole remarked that it felt like a college frat party, while Vince McMahon told him to stop bringing it up.

“Titus O’Neil was to throw up on camera, but he was supposed to drink this stuff, and spew it like a vomit projectile. Titus made a mistake, thought he was supposed to drink it down, and it would make him throw up. He literally was going to throw up on Michael Cole’s head, that’s what he was going to do.

Titus drinks this stuff down because he thinks it’s supposed to make him throw up, not just spew the peas and stuff out. He actually throws up on Cole’s head on live television. Cole then says, ‘I feel like I’m at a frat party back in college again!’ Vince McMahon goes, ‘Quit bringing it up!’ Michael was like, ‘You had a guy throw up on me!’

Michael Cole has put up with a lot of things during his WWE career but he ultimately made the decision to re-sign with the company earlier this year, making it clear he will remain with WWE for a long time. No matter what, fans will always respect Cole for bearing with such segments.
